Welcome to Nestrans - The Transport Partnership for Aberdeen City and Shire.
We're working hard with Councils, the Scottish Government and transport operators to improve transport in the north east. We have developed a regional transport strategy to 2021 and are responsible for delivering a £3 million programme of infrastructure projects. We are also working with our partners to secure major improvements to our rail, bus and road networks to better connect the region and increase accessibility for all.

Transport partnership voices concern over Heathrow access
It would be 'unthinkable' for the ongoing development of Aberdeen Airport to be compromised by loss of access to landing slots at Heathrow, according to the Chair of Nestrans, the regional transport partnership for Aberdeen City and Shire.

New move to enhance access to Aberdeen from the south
Plans to improve road access into Aberdeen from the south have taken a step forward.
The Board of the regional transport partnership Nestrans has approved in principle a draft report outlining options for improving traffic flows on the A90 Stonehaven road and the A956 Wellington Road routes in and out of the city.
