News Release from Transport Scotland:
The local community and road users will have two opportunities over the next two months – 20 July then 24 August 2018 – to view and comment on the preferred option that has been identified for the much-needed Laurencekirk Junction Improvement scheme.
Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity, Michael Matheson said:
“Having put a number of options for the planned improvements at Laurencekirk on display last year and considered the feedback following the public exhibition, we are now able to let the public see and comment on the preferred option that has been identified for this much-needed upgrade.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to attend the exhibitions in July or August or view the material online and give us their views.
“All comments received will be considered as we look to publish draft Orders for the scheme next year.”
Friday 20 July and Friday 24 August 2018 – 12 noon – 7 pm, The Dickson Memorial Hall, Station Road, Laurencekirk, AB30 1BE
The exhibition material showing the preferred option for the Laurencekirk Junction Improvement scheme will be available to view from 12:00 noon on 20 July 2018 on the Transport Scotland website
