Engineering works will be taking place in connection with the electrification of Stirling, Dunblane and Alloa, which will result in service alterations that affect Aberdeen services to the central belt on the following dates:
Sundays 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 September
Sundays 7, 14 & 21 October
If you travel to/from any of the stations marked in red above, buses will replace trains for all or part of your journey.
Glasgow Queen St – Aberdeen / Inverurie
Train services are diverted (via Fife), buses replace trains between
Falkirk High and Dundee calling at intermediate stations.
Glasgow Queen St – Inverness
Train services are all diverted (via Fife) and do not call at Larbert, Stirling,
Dunblane & Gleneagles.
Buses operate between these stations and connect into train services at
Glasgow Queen St – Elgin
The 1438 & 1811 services to Elgin, start from Perth. Buses replace trains
between Falkirk High and Perth.
Edinburgh – Dunblane / Perth
Buses replace trains between Falkirk Grahamston and Dunblane / Perth.
Glasgow Queen St – Alloa
Buses replace trains between Falkirk Grahamston and Alloa.
Journey times will be increased and replacement buses may arrive/depart earlier or later than advertised train times.
