A public exhibition of proposals for a new Park & Ride site at Schoolhill near Portlethen will take place on Tuesday 25 January 2011 in Portlethen Academy from 4pm to 9pm.  The event has been planned to coincide with a meeting of the Portlethen & District Community Council, at which a short presentation on the planned new facility will be given.  The meeting is open to the public and starts at 7.00pm.  The presentation will start at approximately 7.30pm.  The exhibition will be set up in the café area in Portlethen Academy and the Community Council meeting will be held in the nearby school theatre.

This project is jointly supported by Nestrans, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils.  It is a committed project within the Regional Transport Strategy and proposed as a site within the Strategic Park & Ride / Park & Choose Strategy interventions in the Scottish Government’s Strategic Transport Projects Review.
