Supporting children to ride competently with Bikeability Level 1

Aberdeen City Council schools will benefit from projects run by Sport Aberdeen including:
Learn to Bike
Teaching children from P1-P7 who cannot ride a bike at all how to ride a pedal bike so they can then go on to participate in the Bikeability programme.
Bikeability Level 1
Teaching children the basic skills required to ride a bike competently in a safe area so they can then go on to participate in Level 2 on road training.
Bike Dr
A Bike Dr technician will visit schools prior to Bikeability Level 2 sessions to check pupils’ bikes and carry out any minor repairs to ensure their bikes are roadworthy for their on road training.
