North East Scotland Transformational Developments Evidence Study
About the study
Nestrans and its study team are gathering information on significant transformational developments and associated infrastructure requirements that may affect the strategic transport network in the North East of Scotland and neighbouring areas.
This survey is intended to capture consistent information on:
- Project type and status
- Construction and operational characteristics
- Transport, freight and logistics implications
- Strategic corridor and node relevance
- Infrastructure dependencies such as grid, digital, utilities and workforce/housing; and
- Supporting evidence and follow-up needs.
The information provided will support the initial scoping and assessment of projects, helping to focus the study on the most relevant developments and infrastructure considerations.
For projects that are considered in scope, responses will inform more detailed follow-up engagement, ensuring that subsequent discussions are focused and proportionate.
More broadly, the data collected will contribute to a shared evidence base to support analysis of cumulative impacts, infrastructure dependencies, and strategic opportunities across the region.
Please complete one survey per project. This survey takes 5–10 minutes to complete.
If you do not know an exact answer, please provide your best estimate and indicate this where possible.
At this stage, it is assumed that the information provided can be shared within the project team and the wider client group to support project development, assessment, and analysis.
Please be assured that all data collected will be anonymised and treated as confidential by the project team.
We process your data in compliance with GDPR; please read our full Privacy Notice for details on how your responses are managed and protected.
