Press Release from Transport Scotland Two bidders to compete for £18 million contract Transport Scotland has announced that two bidders will be competing to deliver the A90/A96 Haudagain Improvement project in Aberdeen. Evidence across Scotland has shown the significant road safety benefits following the installation of average speed cameras (ASC).  This includes fewer people being killed or seriously injured, more reliable journey times and improved driver behaviour. Multi million Haudagain roundabout contract up for grabs

A contract notice has been advertised by Transport Scotland today, calling on the construction industry to bid for the A90/A96 Haudagain Improvement Project. The project involves the construction of approximately 500m of new dual carriageway connecting the A90 North Anderson Drive and the A96 Auchmill Road. As well as reducing congestion and improving journey time reliability, this project will bring about an improvement in road safety and provide new pedestrian and cycling routes through the local area.
