A new segregated walking, wheeling, and cycling route in Aberdeen which will improve active travel opportunities is open and ready for use. From Aberdeen City Council Construction work to extend the cycle network through West Tullos to Wellington Road will begin on Monday next week (9 October). New cycle facilities will connect Wellington Road with the “Shell Path”, which runs between King George VI Bridge and Abbotswell Road, improving active travel options. Works will include installing cycle tracks alongside footways on Craigshaw Drive and parallel crossings across Abbotswell Road and Craigshaw Drive.
