26 new bike racks installed on buses for the first time in northeast Scotland, enhancing transport connectivity. Available on all double-decked buses on the 201/202 route, operated by Stagecoach, connecting Aberdeen with Braemar and the 35/ X35 route connecting Aberdeen and Elgin via Macduff. Initiative funded by Nestrans, Hitrans, Aberdeenshire Council, and the Cairngorms National Park Authority, coordinated by Aberdeenshire Council with support from Moray Council Racks accommodate two bicycles (including mountain bikes), free to use on a first-come, first-served basis, without affecting wheelchair access.
