Potential new rail stations at Cove and Newtonhill are to be examined in more detail as work continues to identify improvements to sustainable travel between Aberdeen and Laurencekirk. The stations are part of a list of five measures selected by regional transport partnership, Nestrans, to undergo a detailed options appraisal. Public asked for feedback on travelling between Aberdeen and Laurencekirk
A new survey has launched today (Monday 20 September) to study transport problems and opportunities between Aberdeen and Laurencekirk. Nestrans is looking to identify options that will encourage more people to travel in a sustainable way along the corridor; be it walking, cycling, or using public transport.
