From Aberdeenshire Council An improvement project which will make it safer and easier for pedestrians and wheeled users to access paths and routes in Ellon is about to get underway. A replacement ramp is being installed to provide better access to the Formartine and Buchan Way from Hospital Road. Fully-funded by Nestrans – the regional transport partnership for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire – the works are due to start around January 20 and are expected to take around 5-7 weeks to complete, weather-dependent.
