New physical distancing measures to make city centre safe

Press release from Aberdeen City Council: As part of the Council’s response to Phase 1 of the Scottish Government’s Route Map for easing COVID-19 restrictions, we are working with partners, including NHS Grampian, to allow activity to safely resume in the city centre. Work is starting tomorrow (Saturday 30 May) on widening pavements to allow for better physical distancing for pedestrians.
