Nestrans launch Community Sustainable Travel Grant Scheme

Community groups, charities and social enterprises that wish to develop sustainable travel projects are being encouraged to apply for new funding. Regional Transport Partnership, Nestrans, has launched a new Community Sustainable Travel Grant. The scheme makes funding available for projects across the North East that support or encourage active and sustainable travel. Inverurie Business shares the buzz of electric bike deliveries with luxury hamper giveaway

Electric bikes will soon be delivering low carbon shopping in Inverurie in a project organised by Aberdeenshire Council, Inverurie Business Association and Nestrans. Apply Now for Greener Travel Funding

The Nestrans Sustainable Travel Grant Scheme (STGS) is now open for funding applications from organisations across the north east to help support active and ‘greener’ travel initiatives. Whether for increasing travel to work by public transport, supporting cycling and walking or investigating the use of low emission vehicles, the STGS could provide a grant to assist in funding such plans.
