Transport volunteers across the North-east have been recognised for their outstanding service, commitment and contribution at the Grampian Volunteer Transport Awards. The awards, which were first established in 2014, highlight the vital support that community transport provides to those who are elderly, isolated or perhaps have mobility or health issues, who may otherwise face difficulty travelling to key services.
